Long story short my parents were at the bar in Nick's Laguna Beach, where they got talking to an English Gentleman named Justin Williams. He was talking about launching a new Lifestyle / Real Estate Magazine in Orange County. My biggest fan in the world "My Mom" said you need to talk to Brett for photography. Justin Williams called me soon after the Nick's introduction and we got straight to work. I helped Justin fill the dummy issue with photography. Backing the project and seeing the passion Justin had for the magazine I was excited to bring my connections, photography, and creativity to the table. I introduced Justin to my super talented friend Maria Barnes. Maria has a strong design sense and played major leadership roles at Roxy, Hurley, Oakley, and is now the publisher of Blue Door. Two years later Blue Door Volume 1 has landed Dec 15, 2018.
